Pack odds

Each pack contains 5 cards. Each card is an independent draw: first a rarity is picked with the weights below, then a card is picked uniformly from that rarity. Duplicates are possible, inside a pack and across packs. Odds are the same for every payment method. If a rarity tier is ever empty, the draw falls back to the next lower tier.

RarityViews / 30 daysPer card
CCommon< 3k55%
UCUncommon3k – <10k25%
RRare10k – <40k12%
SRSuper Rare40k – <100k5.5%
URUltra Rare100k – <250k2%
LLegendary≥ 250k0.5%

Per mille: C 550 / UC 250 / R 120 / SR 55 / UR 20 / L 5. Rarity comes from English Wikipedia user pageviews (Wikimedia Pageviews API) over the 30 complete days before the card was last fetched, and is recomputed whenever the set is refreshed.

02

Wikipedia content, CC BY-SA

Card titles and extracts come from English Wikipedia articles via the Wikimedia REST API. Wikipedia text is written by volunteer contributors and licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License. Every card links to its source article, where the full text and edit history (the list of authors) live. Extracts are shortened to two sentences. Under the ShareAlike term, any reuse of that text, including what you see on a card, stays under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Images are shown only when the file is hosted on Wikimedia Commons, which accepts freely licensed media. Each card page credits the image's author and license and links to its Commons file page. Local, non-free Wikipedia images (e.g. some logos) are not shown; a placeholder appears instead.

Wikidrop does not own Wikipedia content. Owning a card here means a record in this app's database tied to your wallet, nothing more.

03

Not affiliated

Wikidrop is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Wikimedia Foundation or Wikipedia, and it is not affiliated with WikiMasters. It is also unaffiliated with Robinhood Markets and with any company or person depicted on a card. Wikipedia is a trademark of the Wikimedia Foundation. Company names appear only because they are the subject of a Wikipedia article.

04

Payments

A pack costs 2.00 USDG (USDG is a US-dollar stablecoin), an ERC-20 transfer on Robinhood Chain (chain 4663) from your wallet to the treasury. Wikidrop never holds your keys and cannot move your funds. The server reads the transaction from the chain and credits one pack to the account that owns the wallet that sent the transfer. Each transaction can open exactly one pack. Payments are final and non-refundable. Wikidrop only ever asks your wallet for a plain token transfer, never a spending approval.

Paying with $TOKEN will cost 20% less: the token amount equals 1.60 USD at the configured token price. Token payments are not live yet. The cards and odds are the same either way.

05

Cards have no cash value

Cards are entries in this app's database. They are not NFTs, securities or currency. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged or sold back for money, tokens or anything else of value, by wikidrop or anyone acting for it. There is no marketplace and no trading. Buying a pack buys the chance to reveal five cards for your collection, nothing more.

06

Age

You must be 18 or older, and of legal age where you live, to buy packs or claim free packs. Do not use wikidrop where buying randomised items is restricted or prohibited.

07

Accounts and data

You can sign in with X, an email link or a wallet signature. We store what is needed to run the game: your user id, linked wallet addresses, email (if you add one), your X id, username and avatar (if you link X), your handle, your cards, and the IP address used for free-pack claims (to limit abuse). Wallet sign-in is a message signature; it never moves funds.
